From a very young age, Ken Binkley knew that art was to be a big part of his life. Even in elementary school, he sat and drew many things, especially letters. An old sign painter by the name of Mr. Black had a little sign shop in his barn just behind Ken's family home. Ken would go there at times and watch him work for hours.

A true artist with a brush, Ken practiced for hours on everything from boxes to the side of families' barns. Soon, Ken was asked to paint letters on items for money, and the rest is history.
